all the gymbos

as of late, i have been frequenting the gym each morning. almost every morning, i drag myself out of bed at 5am and trudge out the door to drive to my SE 24 hour fitness.

i have found that others are in the same habit as i am, and i am continually seeing the same people each morning. however, when i go in the afternoons on the weekend its a whole different crowd, but i wont go into that right now. throws me off.

so let me introduce you to the fabulous people of the 5am gym time.

1.) farrah fawcett lady. this woman has the leotard gym outfit complete with the feathered hair and a badass attitude. i swear, morning, afternoon, evening, that lady is THERE. she has a personal trainer, and i cant help but ask "WHY?!" she is RIPPED. shes on the treadmill at 18% incline, shes lifting weights, doing lunges, lifting weights WHILE doing lunges. sometimes she stops and takes a breather, but im convinced she does that just to make us all feel better about ourselves. she is a hard core gymbo.

2.) crazy gym clothes pair. these two friends are at the gym most mornings, and one has purple hair and regular clothes and the other has green hair, tye dye sweats, a bright teeshirt, and not-so-comfortable looking shoes. she is a colorful blur on the treadmill. sometimes the other dresses colorfully, but most of the time its just her. i want to know where she gets the pants. never mind, i dont.

3.) funny running man. i am on the ellipticals in the front, and so i have either a window in front of me (its dark out), or a mirror. therefore, i can see who is behind me. without fail, there is a man who runs with his hands spread out and he kind of flops them about as he runs. is it for balance? for form? not sure, but its funny.

4.) blue sweats man. same treadmill. same sweats. same shirt. same look on his face. every single day. what happens when his treadmill is taken? not wanting to find out.

5.) hot scary trainer dude. shaved head, tons of tattoos, looks like he could throw me, and to be quite honest i wouldnt mind. he trains farrah fawcett lady and i can tell he admires her hair. who wouldnt. no but seriously, he scares me, and i would rather admire from afar than have him be my trainer. he would kick my ass and like it. sheesh.

and i am the all-black gym clothes girl... black pants, black shirts, and some colorful tank top underneath. other than that, who knows. perhaps all-black gym clothes girl will soon be training with hot scary trainer dude... hmmmm...
